Eric Darkthorne vs. Rick O'Shea
These two are going to be kicking off the new season in a singles match as they both debut here in New Japan Fighting Championship. In a match between two heavyweights; Eric Darkthorne also known as The Deity Of Devastation will be looking to make an impression on the Japanese crowd. He comes to EWC via NJFC to showcase why his is the most dominant and greatest of all time. Whilst his opponent Rich O'Shea played college football for Pittsburgh as an inside linebacker and was a kickboxer before becoming a professional wrestler. These two experienced wrestlers will undoubtedly put on quite the opener for the NJFC fans!

Jason P. Davidson vs. Stefan Raab
The number one contender for the GPC World Heavyweight Championship will go toe to toe with the number one contender for the NJFC Global Championship. Jason P. Davidson managed to win the Collision Course tournament last year to book his place in the main event of Stardom I. At Rising Sun Revolution "The Iceman" Stefan Raab managed to defeat Shawn Cage, MONROE and Stigma in a fatal fourway match to earn himself a match at the Global title at Stardom. Both of these two men still do not know who their opponents are going to be at Stardom but regardless, they've got to concentrate on the now and battle it out in this contender vs. contender match. A highly anticipated match which will without a question of a doubt, will steal the show!

Asuka Yoshiro vs. Hiroyoshi Suzuki
Both of these men have traveled all of Japan and have made a name for themselves in the nation, and now they're looking to gain some global recognition. Both men have held the now defunct NJFC Heavyweight Championship, and both men have main evented some of the biggest events in the companies illustrious history. Now apart of the new era, these two superstars will be looking to continue their growing legacy and cement their names in the archives of the new era, as they have in the old.

At Rising Sun Revolution King Flip managed to defeat five other competitors to be crowned the first ever GPC Fighting Jnr Heavyweight champion! Now he must defend that championship against a Woman who managed to herald herself "Queen of NJFC" after defeating both Shelley Silver and REINA Reiko at Collision Course. Both of these Jnr Heavyweights are dominant in the ring, high-flying and just pure electrifying to watch. With the championship on the line and a packed Wembley Arena, the pressure is on - who will rise is the question?
Our first tag team match of the year will consist of these two established teams; the Nonagon who are husband and wife will take on the team of Shelley Silver and Olivia Saint, who are both members of the faction Project Chaos.

The Vigilante vs. Mark Storm
These two meet for a third time here in New Japan Fighting Championship in a match that will determine who will face Jason P. Davidson at Stardom I for the GPC World Heavyweight Championship. The Vigilante will return to the wrestling ring for the first time in months to take on his brother in an epic encounter. Though the two brothers have apparently reconciled personally, these two still have a fierce rivalry when in the ring, and both men will be wanting to gain the victory to book a main event match at Stardom I.

The one man wolf pack will make his highly anticipated NJFC debut against NJFC original roster member Minoru Tanaka in a match that has been dubbed "The Best of the Best".

With the global championship now vacant, James Peterson announced via twitter that an open invitational battle royal will be held at Global Takeover to determine a new champion, and the new champion will then have to defend the title at Stardom against Stefan Raab.
