NJFC CONTRACT: GUEST
Character Information
Name: Kemberly Christa Anderson
Wrestling Name: Kem Dynamo
Nicknames: None
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 187
Age: 19
Hometown: San Diego, California
Resides In: San Diego, California
Alignment: Enthusiastic Face; excited to be wrestling on "big stages" and representing OWF, wants to entertain the fans and earn their support; but not completely forgiving or malleable, as she's already suffered through years of professional setbacks and coming up short.
Brief Bio: The illegitimate daughter of Hall of Famer Kid Dynamo, Kem was adopted by another wrestler, Seth Anderson, and was always a fan of wrestling. Her favorite was Alexis Cage, and Cage's brutal feuds with Eclipse as well as breaking the gender barrier by becoming OWF World Champion in 2008 inspired Kem to do what was already in her blood.
Even at only 19 years old, Kem has suffered much adversity on her way to becoming an international pro wrestler, but now that she's made it, she's not letting go.
Pro Debut: 2016 in Indy Pro Wrestling (In kayfabe, she wrestled in 2013 for her father's CPW promotion that only exists in storyline)
Picture Base: Goya Kong
Gimmick: She's an energetic and passionate youngster. She's young in the ways of the world but has been studying wrestling for over a decade as a fan and ambitious youth so she expresses knowledge both historical and psychological that exceed her teenage youth.
She's got a bit of a "girl power" streak and prefers to team/work with girls, largely because she recognizes that there's still a gender gap in the industry.
Also, while she projects herself as a big believer in integrity in both her demeanor and in preserving the technical sport of wrestling itself, her passion to excel can inspire her to be aggressive both in saying some mean things in promos and/or breaking the hardcore barrier if the situation insists upon it.
Wrestling Information
Past Injuries: None yet
Wrestling Style: "Low-Risk Luchador" / Technical
Kem's gameplan is low-risk, high-impact moves designed to use flawless execution to maximize damage. She uses aerial moves like dropkicks and legdrops rather than easily-countered cross-bodies or needless suicide dives. Her technical moveset focuses on physics rather than pure strength such as ddt's and rolling cutters rather than suplexes or slams.
Also, regardless of opponent, her focus is largely on the head/neck because all of her finishers target this area.
Wrestling Attire:
As pictured above but with "DYNAMO" is silver down her right leg.
Finishing Move:
Lights Out - Cradle Hammerlock DDT
(A fan of the DDT, Kem perfected a version that removes from the opponent any method of blocking the impact)
Finisher - Submission: Blackout - Reverse STO Floatover to Figure-Four Necklock
(While, yes, it's obviously possible for her to apply the hold from a grounded position, her preferred method is to suddenly hit the Reverse STO, catching her opponent off guard such that, by the time they realize what's going on, their neck is trapped and they've no choice but to tap out.)
Signature Moves: (You have a maximum of three signature moves, that your character uses)
Hangover - Somersault Guillotine Leg Drop
(An homage to her biological father, Kem sometimes performs this move standing, but usually this is a "ignite the crowd" moment from the top rope; this would also be Kem's go-to for an OMG "off the top of [something high] and/or onto the opponent who's on [something breakable] move)
Signature Move - Out of Nowhere - STO
(An homage to her adoptive father, this simple but effective move, as the name implies, is most likely to be seen as a momentum-shifting counter or desperation offense, although the lightning-quick nature of this move also means Kem would use it multiple times to clear the ring like a Young Bucks "SUPERKICK Party" but with this move instead)
Common Moves:
DDTs of all shapes and sizes
Kick-heavy Lucha Libre offense (Enziguri, Spinning Heel Kick, Dropkicks of every shape/size)
Core-power suplexes (Capture, Saito, Belly-to-Belly, Belly-to-Back, etc)
Physics-enhanced Technical moves (Rolling Cutter, Swinging Neckbreaker, Arm Drags especially the Japanese one)
Head/Neck-focused Submission moves (Dragon sleeper, Crossface, Triangle Choke and variations thereof, etc.)
Strengths:
Student of the game - Has an advanced sense of ring psychology, performs moves perfectly with no botching, and her choice of conservative moves means she gets countered less often
Teenage Sense of Invincibility - she is fearless and, while she's smart and judicious, she never runs from a fight and has no qualms about trying something reckless if she's convinced it's the right move to seal the deal
Youth - her body has no lingering ailments and heals fast, has decent stamina despite her extra weight
Charismatic Hero - has had no problem getting the crowd behind her, and that means when she's needs a little extra, the crowd is very likely to try and give it to her.
Weaknesses: (Does your character have any weaknesses)
Her shape - her singular, obsessive focus on wrestling training has taken advanced strength training out of her routine. Her weight doesn't seem to affect her stamina or agility, but she lacks strength and power, having to rely on physics and precision to compensate where others can resort to power.
Classic "Tweener" - Not fast enough to be a true luchador, not big enough to be overwhelming when grappling, not powerful enough to be able to get away with brawling
Allies:
Friends with Jessica Sears; if matched up as opponents, would shake hands then tear the roof off the arena, then loser buys waffles afterwards . Also would volunteer to team with her (if that's at all part of the tournament) and would be quick to back her up if she fell victim to heel treachery and/or "dat numbers game".
Enemies: No
Notable Accomplishments: Won UGWC WrestleStock Open Invitational 2016
Manager/Valet: None

"The Only Difference Between Suicide and Martyrdom Is Press Coverage" by Panic! at the Disco
Entrance Description:
Over the PA system, a young woman's voice is heard.
Lights Out!
On cue, the lights go out throughout the arena. A second later, "The Only Difference Between Suicide and Martyrdom Is Press Coverage" by Panic! at the Disco begins with immediate vocals.
Sit tight!
I'm gonna need you to keep time
Come on!
Just Snap!, Snap!, Snap! your fingers with me!
Good! Good!
Now we're making some progress!
Come on!
Just Tap! Tap! Tap! your toes to the beat...
I'm gonna need you to keep time
Come on!
Just Snap!, Snap!, Snap! your fingers with me!
Good! Good!
Now we're making some progress!
Come on!
Just Tap! Tap! Tap! your toes to the beat...
A distorted, percussive guitar riffs add persistence to the musical intro, fuchsia-colored laser lights shoot through the arena and silver lights strobe in time, giving the darkness more of a "pop concert" feel.
And I BELIEVE
This may call for a proper introduction
and, well, don't you SEE
I'm the Narrator
and this is just the prologue...
This may call for a proper introduction
and, well, don't you SEE
I'm the Narrator
and this is just the prologue...
The music begins to crescendo towards the chorus, the arrival of such accompanied by a sudden and momentary outburst of light from the entryway creates a "flash-bang" effect that causes the audience to have to avert their eyes briefly.
Swear to shake it up
if YOU SWEAR TO LISTEN...
if YOU SWEAR TO LISTEN...
After the moment of flash, the lights go back to normal and as fans look back at the entryway, Kem Dynamo is standing there, beaming a smile of infectious enthusiasm, and waving to the crowd, as if trying to thank every single one of them for being here tonight to watch her fulfill her dream of performing as a professional wrestler. She remains on the entryway, diverting her attention to as many different points in the audience as she can as the brief chorus continues.
Applause! Applause!...
The second verse comes suddenly, and the dynamics of the song decrease noticeably. Kem takes that as her cue to excitedly approach the ring. Her pace toward the ring is quick, but she still tries to acknowledge as many fans as she can on her way. Reaching ringside, she picks up to a run for a few steps and slides into the ring under the bottom rope, popping up quickly to her feet and continuing to try and energize the crowd until her music fades out, reminding her to put her focus back towards the match at hand.
