MATCH ONE WELCOME TO JAPAN SINGLES MATCH
Eric Darkthorne vs. Rick O'Shea These two are going to be kicking off the new season in a singles match as they both debut here in New Japan Fighting Championship. In a match between two heavyweights; Eric Darkthorne also known as The Deity Of Devastation will be looking to make an impression on the Japanese crowd. He comes to EWC via NJFC to showcase why his is the most dominant and greatest of all time. Whilst his opponent Rich O'Shea played college football for Pittsburgh as an inside linebacker and was a kickboxer before becoming a professional wrestler. These two experienced wrestlers will undoubtedly put on quite the opener for the NJFC fans!
Stepping into the four sided ring is the beautiful Mai Kado who walks over to the center of the ring, receiving applauds from the audience as she grins from ear to ear and brings the microphone to her mouth.Mai Kado: The opening contest is scheduled for a one fall. Ōpuningukontesuto wa 1 aki ni yotei sa rete imasu.. She pauses as fans in the (arena name) rise to their feet as "Fuel" by Metallica rips across the sound system as Rick O'Shea makes his way out on stage.Kado: Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, weighing in a 250 pounds.. The Spotlight Steeler! RICKKKK O’SHEAAAA!! 250-Pondo de keiryō, pittsubāgu, Penshirubenia-shū, Beikoku kara, saisho ni shōkai.. Supottoraito Steeler! RICKKKK O' SHEAAAA!O’Shea walks out calmly to about halfway down the ramp and proceeds to raise his arms with his index fingers up. A red "X" pyro goes off. He starts to get focused as he walks up the steps and in the ring through the middle and top ropes.Shiozaki: Rick O’Shea is well known here in the United Kingdom as this is the place where his career really took off. What a name to have in the ranks and I’m really excited to see him take on Eric Darkthorne tonight.Sato: O’Shea is experiened, skilled, and after what we heard from him in the press conference, really determined to make a name for himself in Japan. Obviously we’re not in Japan tonight but I’m sure that our Japanese main fans will be watching this on EWC.TV!Mai Kado: And his opponent.. Soshite, nan taisen aite o karē arimasen..The lights go out. A Gothic, Metallic blue light appears over the top of the entrance ramp. Smoke fulls the arena. Eric Darkthrone appears on top of the entrance ramp. He slowly walks to the ring with the light following him. Mai Kado: From the Kingdom of Hades.. weighing in a three hundred and thirty pounds.. The Diety of Devestation.. ERIC DARKTHORNE! Hadesu no ōkoku kara.. 330-Pondo de keiryō.. Devestation.. ERIC DARKTHORNE no Diety! He gets to the ring, steps over the ropes, and does the El Mesias pose in the middle of the ring in which Gothic blue fire shoots out from all four cornerposts. Shiozaki: 330 pounds, six foot ten in height.. Eric Darkthorne is the epitome of destruction. Do you think Rick O’shea has ever stepped inside the four sided ring with someone like Darkthorne?Gozen: It’s not everyday you come across a six foot ten guy who weighs three hundred and thirty pounds! But O’Shea is experienced, he’s come across guys that are big.. but whether he’s coming across anyone LIKE Darkthorne, I have no idea. The two men glare at each other from across the ring, as Oliver Reid enters the ring and explains the rules to both of the men, who nod their head in acknowledgement to his rules and guidelines they have to follow. Reid then asks the two men to shake hands or pump fists. The two men come to the center of the ring looking into each others eyes and shake hands, however both men remain in the hold for a few seconds. O’Shea with a smirk upon his lip whilst Darkthorne remains vacant from any emotion.
The bell sounds and this one gets under way, both men backing up to their corners as they continue to glare at each other before circling the four sided ring. They both stride into the center and engage in a lock up, with Darkthorne gaining the advantage early on and forcing O’Shea into the corner. O’Shea gets his arms on the ropes, signaling a rope break and Reid rushes over, counting for Darkthorne to release his graps on O’Shea, which he does. O’Shea then goes for a cheap shot, connecting with a slap on the face before rolling out of the way as Darkthorne furiously charges towards him. Darkthorne turns around and O’shea connects with a hard forearm shot to the head. Darkthorne doesn’t react. O’Shea takes a step back and leaps up into the air to get reach, connecting with another hard forearm shot. Darkthorne remains stagnent. O’Shea then runs to the ropes, rebounds off of them but when he returns is on the canvas as Darkthorne connects with a devastating big boot!Shiozaki: O’Shea with the attempts to try and stun Darkthorne obviously not working, and Darkthorne counters with a massive big boot. It does make you wonder whether O’Shea even has a chance here tonight, Darkthorne was literally not even affected from those harsh forearm shots, if anything they just woke him up a little. Sato: This is going to be a very long night for Rick O’Shea.Gozen: I think he’ll prove you two wrong, you’ve got to remember O’Shea is a former World champion, he may not have come across anyone like Darkthorne but he has certainly come across wrestlers of world title credential. O’Shea helps himself up via the ropes, exhaling heavily as he runs his fingers through his hair and turns to face Darkthorne who is charging at him. It’s too late for O’Shea to do anything, and he has to take a punishing hit as Darkthorne connects with a massive body splash on O’Shea in the corner. Grabbing O’Shea afterwards he swings him towards the opposite turnbuckle before charging at him again, connecting with another splash in the corner. O’Shea stumbles out of the corner and turns around, Darkthorne lifting him up into the air and performing a spinning spinebuster before going for the win. .. ONE .... T – A kickout by O’Shea who then rolls out of the ring and rests on the steel barricade, looking at Darkthorne who exists the ring to join O’Shea. Darkthorne grabs O’Shea by his hair but O’Shea then elbows him in the stomach, doing this twice more before spearing him onto the edge of the apron. Oliver Reid is beginning his count; insisting that the two men get inside the ring before they get inside disqualified. O’Shea grabs Darkthorne and manages to roll him into the ring before joining him inside.Sato: O’Shea may have found a way in after that spear into the apron! The veteran just needs to keep Darkthorne down and out of this one. Darkthorne is on one knee as O’Shea runs to the ropes and connects with a massive big boot to the face, to the cheers of the audience. O’Shea then picks Darkthorne up however only slightly, Darkthorne is only on his knees. He connects with a combination of jabs and hooks to the face of Darkthorne before running to the ropes once again but once he rebounds off of them, Darkthorne is up and is looking for another big boot. O’Shea ducks under the leg of Darkthorne and when Darkthorne turns around he is met with a punishing drop kick by O’Shea. Darkthorne stumbles a little, backwards and forwards whilst O’Shea runs to the ropes bounces back and connects with another drop kick. Darkthorne once again stumbles backwards and forwards but manages to stay on his feet! O’Shea runs to the ropes for a third time, bounces back and this time connects with a crossbody, taking Darkthorne down completely!Shiozaki: And he’s got the big man down! O’Shea has got him down!Gozen: He should go for the pin!Sato: But that’s not what he’s doing, he’s going up to the top rope!O’Shea rushed to his feet and makes his way to the turnbuckle, climbing his way to the top rope as the atmosphere in the SSE arena becomes electric as the name of Rick O’Shea echoes. Shiozaki: He’s going for the Air O’Shea! (Swanton Bomb) He stands up and clasps his hands before leaping off of the top rope...Gozen: And he connects! Sato: He’s going for the win!..ONE .... TWO Darkthorne manages to launch the body of Rick O’Shea off of his body to the amazement of Oliver Reid who stops the count and watches O’Shea fly from the middle of the ring, to the edge of the ring, O’Shea rolling out. He gets up, infuriated and looks at O’Shea who is rolling around outside the ring, trying to find something to help him up. Shiozaki: Eric Darkthorne looks like a man possessed! Gozen: Kicking out of that one would be a massive understatement, he threw Rick O’Shea off of himself! I mean O’Shea is still a pretty big guy weighing two hundred and fifty pounds! O’Shea is by the commentary desk and Darkthorne storms over connecting with a few punishing blows to the head. He then lifts O’Shea up and throw him into the barricade, the back of O’Shea turning red as O’Shea arches onto his back and rolls around a little. Reid asks Darkthorne to get back into the ring with O’Shea, but Darkthorne ignores him and continues to ensue havoc as he lifts O’Shea up and gets him up in a Gorilla Press position! He has him in this position for a few seconds before slamming him hard onto the mat outside, the fans in the arena jeering heavily as Darkthorne roars! Sato: A literal beast. A gorilla press slam by Eric Darkthorne, further damaging the back of Rick O’Shea! Gozen: Eric Darkthorne has got to be one of the deadliest men I’ve seen walk into this promotion. He grew up in a bloodlustful royal family. A family who has a might makes right mentality. An aristocrat at birth that was taught by the greatest scholars money can buy. Excelled in athletics, especially in combat arts like: Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitzu, Sambo, Catch Wrestling, Greco Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Isshin Ryu Karate. Meanwhile both men are now inside the ring after O’Shea was thrown over the top rope from the outside by Darkthorne, and Darkthorne casually entered afterwards. O’Shea is crawling towards the ropes by Darkthorne grabs him by his legs, picking him up and throwing him to the other side of the ring. Darkthorne then picks him up again and grabs him by the neck, performing a chokeslam which sends chills down the spines of the audience. He picks him up again and performs another chokeslam! Shiozaki: The back of O’Shea must me in so much agony!Sato: O’Shea must be in so much agony! Darkthorne picks him up again and this time turns O’Shea around and gets him in a full nelson position, before performing a dragon suplex which sends the SSE arena rocking with boo’s and some applause for the efforts of Darkthorne, who manages to bridge it into a pin. .. ONE ...... TWO ............. THR- Shiozaki: And a kickout by Rick O’Shea! Gozen: I thought it was all over!Somehow, someway O’Shea manages to kick out! The fans in the arena cheer and applaud as Darkthorne looks at the referee and argues that he counted the three count, shaking his head in disappointment and slams his fist into the canvas before getting up. He lifts O’Shea up who has suddenly burst back into life, delivering some stiff edge chops to the chest of Darkthorne who is baffled by the resurgence of life within O’Shea. O’Shea then Irish whips Darkthorne into the corner before charging at him, conencting with a drop kick. Darkthorne remains in the corner and O’Shea quickly gets back up onto his feet, joining Darkthorne in the corner as he mounts on top of him and begins to blow punches to Darkthorne as the crowd chant along with the number of hits O’Shea manages to connect!Crowd: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN! O’Shea jumps down and Darkthorne stumbles out of the corner! O’Shea spins him around and briefly hugs him, before performing a massive Belly to belly suplex which gets the audience in a frenzy. Shiozaki: And somehow, someway – Rick O’Shea has managed to lift the three hundred and thirty pounds Eric Darkthorne, hitting him with a belly to belly suplex!Sato: What a maneuver by Rick O’Shea who has stunned everyone in the arena! The Spotlight Steeler is back on his feet and is embracing the love from the audience, clapping as he gets the audience to join in with him, he then looks at Darkthorne. Sizing him up, eying him up; like lion does to a gazelle, waiting to capitalize and attack. Gozen: Rick O’Shea is preparing for something big here! Darkthorne is on one knee and this is enough for Rick O’Shea who runs to the ropes, bounces back and connects with a running big boot to the face! Sato: And boom! A massive big boot from Rick O’Shea! The fans in the arena are cheering from the top of their lungs as O’Shea waves his arms up, encouraging the audience to get behind him as he prepares for one final move – the Olympic slam! O’Shea gets himself in a low position and waits for Darkthorne who is slowly rising!Shiozaki: Is he going to connect! Is he going to be able to lift up Eric Darkthorne!Darkthorne is up!
He turns around!Gozen: O’Shea has got him on his shoulders!Shiozaki: OLYMPIC SLAM! O’Shea manages to connect with his finishing move, the olympic slam and the SSE arena is absolutely rocking from the move. Darkthorne is down and out! But so is O’Shea! But O’Shea manages to drape his arm over the body of Darkthorne!.... ONE ...... TWO ........... THRE – Sato: He’s got his leg on the rope! He’s got his leg on the bottom! The referee stops with the count and O’Shea thinks he’s won it! O’Shea is up on his feet, celebrating as the audience also think he’s won it! His theme song even starts to play but Oliver Reid gets to his feet and turns O’Shea around, telling him to look at the foot of Darkthorne which is on the bottom rope! His theme song stops playing and O’Shea can’t believe it, burying his head in his hands!Shiozaki: THIS ONE ISN’T OVER! DARKTHORNE IS STILL IN THIS ONE! The diety of devestation is almost up on his feet and O’Shea is still arguing with the official, claiming that the leg of Darkthorne was on the bottom rope after the three count! Gozen: Look out Rick!Darkthorne turns Rick O’Shea around! He’s got him in a pedigree position! Sato: He’s going for the judgement of Gods! He jumps up and connects with the judgement of Gods on O’Shea, who may have just be knocked out! Shiozaki: Judgement of Gods by Eric Darkthorne!... ONE ....... TWO ......... THREE! The bell sounds and the theme song of Eric Darkthorne blares through the speakers, the audience in attendance heavily booing as Darkthorne stumbles around the ring, before steadying himself and looking at the fallen Rick O’Shea. Mai Kado: And the winner of the match.. ERIC DARKTHORNE! Winner: Eric Darkthorne (11:42)

MATCH TWO CONTENDER vs. CONTENDER SINGLES MATCH Jason P. Davidson vs. Stefan Raab The number one contender for the GPC World Heavyweight Championship will go toe to toe with the number one contender for the NJFC Global Championship. Jason P. Davidson managed to win the Collision Course tournament last year to book his place in the main event of Stardom I. At Rising Sun Revolution "The Iceman" Stefan Raab managed to defeat Shawn Cage, MONROE and Stigma in a fatal fourway match to earn himself a match at the Global title at Stardom. Both of these two men still do not know who their opponents are going to be at Stardom but regardless, they've got to concentrate on the now and battle it out in this contender vs. contender match. A highly anticipated match which will without a question of a doubt, will steal the show! Match Length: 24:13 Description: In one of the most contested matches on the card, Jason P Davidson and Stefan Raab took each other to their limits for over twenty minutes, back and forth contest which pleased the audience and had commentary twisting their tounges as they didn't know which way this match was going to go. The decisive moment of the match was when Tara Davidson appeared half way through the contest, distracting Raab throughout the final half of the match which gave hubby Jason the upperhand and also a victory heading into his championship match at Stardom. Match Rating: 4/5 Match Winner: Jason P Davidson MATCH FOUR King vs. Queen GPC Fighting Jnr Heavyweight Championship LAST COMPETITOR STANDING
King Flip vs. Tara Davidson At Rising Sun Revolution King Flip managed to defeat five other competitors to be crowned the first ever GPC Fighting Jnr Heavyweight champion! Now he must defend that championship against a Woman who managed to herald herself "Queen of NJFC" after defeating both Shelley Silver and REINA Reiko at Collision Course. Both of these Jnr Heavyweights are dominant in the ring, high-flying and just pure electrifying to watch. With the championship on the line and a packed Wembley Arena, the pressure is on - who will rise is the question?
Match Length: 30:03 Description: The match of the night, undoubtedly. King Flip versus Tara Davidson will go down in the archives as one of the closest matches that NJFC has witnessed. There was blood, sweat and at the end of the match, tears, as these two took each other to hell and back with quick high-flying wrestling which mesmerized everyone watching. Whilst Tara had Jace in her corner Flip has Kinsley, who tried to level the score every time Jace tried to intervene, at one point, taking Jace out with an enziguri kick, only to be dragged away by security who were called to be at ringside to separate the two. Whilst all of the commotion between Jace and Kinsley occurred, Flip and Davidson continued to brawl over the barricade and near the fans, with a controversial low blow from Davidson almost deciding the match but when Flip got up, she finished him off with a superkick which stunned the SSE arena. Despite the victory going to Tara, Kinsley managed to grab the title and escape alongside partner in crime King Flip. The champion may have changed but the title is still in the possession of King Flip. These two will collide again at Stardom, it was announced shortly after the match.
Match Rating: 4.5/5 Match Winner: Tara Davidson

MATCH FIVE BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY TAG TEAM MATCH
The Nonagon (Jun Yao & Sara Yao) vs. Project CHAOS (Shelley Silver & Olivia Saint) Our first tag team match of the year will consist of these two established teams; the Nonagon who are husband and wife will take on the team of Shelley Silver and Olivia Saint, who are both members of the faction Project Chaos. Match Length: 6:23 Description: A very underwhelming match that saw Project CHAOS completely dominate their opponents Jun Yao and Sara Yao. Olivia Saint and Shelley Silver looked beyond impressive as they inflicted as much pain as they possibly could on the couple, who were both stunned by the level of intensity shown by the Project CHAOS duo, and it was Olivia Saint who managed to score the pin for the team. Match Rating: 2/5 Match Winner: Shelley Silver & Olivia Saint
New GPC World title contender
Everyone was expecting the third battle between the brothers to commence at Global Takeover, but that didn't happen. Unfortunately both Storm and the Vigilante had to cancel as their services were required elsewhere. Peterson came out to announce it to the English fans who were disappointed that they weren't going to get the match that determined the number one contender for the GPC World title. Suddenly the lights in the arena dimmed and the familiar theme song of John Pariah played through the speakers. Pariah was a finalist in the Collision Course tournament and reminded everyone of that fact, and with no world title contender, Pariah found it fit to propose that at Stardom he gets a second crack at Jason P Davidson but this time for the World title! Hesitant at first Peterson looked at the crowd for a response, who popped and demanded that Pariah vs. Davidson II took place at Stardom. He then made it official that at Stardom, John Pariah would take on Jason P Davidson for the GPC World Heavyweight title. New Contender: JOHN PARIAH
MATCH SEVEN BEST OF THE BEST SINGLES MATCH Luke Wolfe vs. Minoru Tanaka The one man wolf pack will make his highly anticipated NJFC debut against NJFC original roster member Minoru Tanaka in a match that has been dubbed "The Best of the Best". Match Length: 8:05 Description: The long awaited debut of Luke Wolfe finally happened at Global Takeover and the fans were not disappointed. Despite his negative attitude, the fans who are familiar with Wolfe still cheered him on as he came down the entrance ramp however these cheers were short lived, as during the match Wolfe played dirty, repeatedly broke the rules and completely annihilated NJFC original Minoru Tanaka. Some of the fans after the match said that Tanaka was irrelevant during the match as Wolfe gave him the beat down of his life for just over eight minutes. After the match Wolfe made is clear that he isn't in NJFC to play around, grabbing the microphone and letting the fans know that he's going to propel to the top in a very short space of time. Match Rating: 1.5/5 Match Winner: Luke Wolfe
