PRIDE OF PURORESU CROWN
DAY FOUR
Location: Yoyogi 2nd Gymnasium
Capacity: 3000 in attendance
The first match of the evening would be between Mitsuo Shimada and Kyo Natsumi, who circled the ring and kept their eyes on each other before lunging forward, with Shimada pulling out in the last second. Carefully walking round the ring whilst Natsumi watched. The two would complete another circuit of the ring and lunge forward once again, with Shimada continuing to hesitate at the last second - pulling out and rubbing his hand against his jaw, a smirk appearing on his lips as the cameras pan to him. Natsumi shakes his head in annoyance, inviting Shimada for another lock up who accepts and the two approach each other, with Natsumi lunging and once again Shimada walked away with a chuckle. Natsumi then attacked him from behind with a club around the back, to the approval of the audience who applaud him as he led Shimada over to the corner, where he'd continue to lay boots on him. Natsumi then looked for an Irish whip, Shimada reversed and Natsumi hit the corner, with Shimada running at him - Natsumi countered with a powerslam and Shimada rolled out of the ring after the impact.
Shimada arched his back as he walked around the outside of the ring, looking in at the focused Natsumi who waves at him to come back to the ring. Shimada hopped onto the apron and looked at him, gradually, entering the ring with Natsumi running toward him as his second foot in the canvas - knee to the mid section by Shimada who then clubbing him round the back. Grabbing onto him, springboard DDT off of the ropes and he quickly hooked the legs of Natsumi but to no prevail. Shimada smirked and ran his fingers through his hair, nodding as he used the ropes to help himself him whilst Natsumi done the same opposite the ring. Shimada ran toward him only to be met with a back elbow, he stumbled to the center of the ring whilst Natsumi took off to the ropes, bouncing off of them and Shimada managed to leapfrog over him. Natsumi bounced off the opposite ropes and this time, Shimada leapfrogged with his back toward Natsumi, who hit the ropes again - and Shimada greeted him with a flying forearm strike before getting to his feet and posing for the cameras on the outside of the ring.
Natsumi was by the corner in a seated position and Shimada would hold his boot against his face, constantly pushing back against it with Natsumi holding onto the ropes next to him. The referee would count and eventually, Shimada would let go - a grin on his face as he brought Natsumi back up to his feet. He hoisted him up onto his shoulders - fireman carry style, and proceeded with a rolling slam in the position before hoisting himself up onto the second rope, and moonsaulting backwards on the grounded Natsumi, hooking his legs for the pin but to no prevail, yet again. Rolling to the outside Natsumi went and Shimada latched onto the top ropes, senton over it but Natsumi would move out of the way. The back of Shimada landing hard on the outside and Natsumi would clock onto this, bringing Shimada back up onto his feet, and spearing him into the guard railing, wanting to damage the back of Shimada. He then speared him into the edge of the apron before lifting him up onto it. Natsumi hopped up himself and looked for a suplex on the apron, Shimada wouldn't lift and would fight his way out of the position. Natsumi would then deliver a big boot to Shimada which sent him off the apron and crashing to the outside.
Momentum on his side, Natsumi would pick Shimada up and roll him back into the ring and join him. Cover, but to no prevail. He then prepped himself as Shimada made his way up onto his feet, he ran toward him in search of a lariat. Shimada ducked, bouncing off of the ropes and performing a senton kick to Natsumi who stumbled backwards. Shimada then ran towards him, leaping over him in a leapfrog fashion and a one handed bulldog to the canvas. His signature "Eat The Canvas" connecting! Shimada then wiped away the sweat from his forehead and waited for Natsumi to rise to his feet. Once he did, he threw him into the ropes, popping him up as he came back, before slamming him down to the canvas with the pop up powerbomb, his "Destiny Calls" finisher securing a second win for him!
Winner: Mitsuo Shimada (09:02)
