The scene opened up to the locker room area of the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Ryan Henderson was seen sitting down on a bench as he was removing his wrist tape from his wrists after having come up short in the Gauntlet match tonight, something that was hitting him a little harder than usual. Ryan managed to remove his tape and that was when his pregnant wife, Angelita walked into the locker room and went and sat down next to him, her hand rubbing the back of his neck.
ANGELITA HENDERSON: “You did great, babe.”
Ryan let out a sigh.
RYAN HENDERSON: “Obviously not great enough as I don't have a championship resting in my lap right now.”
Ryan started removing his kickpads, sliding them off as he placed them into his bag, before beginning to work on his knee pads and getting those off, throwing them into the bag as well.
ANGELITA HENDERSON: “Win or lose you'll always be a winner to me and I know you'll bounce back from this.”
Ryan nodded his head, looking over towards his wife, before looking down at her stomach as he placed his hand on it, before closing his eyes briefly as he opens them back up, nodding his head.
RYAN HENDERSON: “You're right, I will bounce back. We better get out of here, I've got an early flight in the morning.”
Angelita nodded her head as the two got up, interlocking their hands as Ryan grabbed his bag and the two exited the locker room as the scene faded out.

The sound of a phone's recording function is heard turning on as Ryan Henderson smiles into the camera, looking around briefly before turning his attention back to the camera, licking his lips as he begins speaking.
RYAN HENDERSON: “It's very early in the morning, about 5:30 am to be exact and I'm here at the airport waiting for my flight to Tokyo. I'll be honest this is actually my first-time ever going to Tokyo, I've never wrestled there and honestly I'm very much looking forward to it. Especially considering who is all in this tournament, I mean you've got Michael Kelly, Samantha Tolson, Craig Anderson, Owen Gonsalves just to name a few. I keep getting asked wherever I go who I'd like to face in the tournament. Obviously I'm facing Tolson in the first round and if I can get past her I'll likely be facing either Joseph White or Michael Kelly. I'm familiar with both Tolson and Kelly as of course the three of us are apart of Sixth City. I know the three of us compared to the others are most likely not going to be at a hundred percent after having just competed the other night at the Sixth.”
Ryan looked around again as he continued.
RYAN HENDERSON: “There's a reason why I entered this tournament, I want to show everybody that I am a world renowned competitor and athlete. You saw my athleticism on display during the show in Cleveland and that's only the tip of the iceberg right there. During this tournament expect to see it on display even more and trust me I'm gonna put everything on the line in order to survive the first night and then go on to become the new Junior Heavyweight Champion in the main event with the entire world watching. Now if I had to choose who I'd like to face in the finals, a week ago I'm not sure if I'd be able to give you an answer because every single person in this tournament has so much talent and I'd absolutely love to step in the ring with anyone of these competitors. But after the other night, I think it would be quite something if ended up being myself and Michael Kelly facing off in the finals or possibly me facing off against Craig Anderson in the finals. I'd love to face either one of those men in the finals and put on a show for the fans. So we'll see if that will indeed be the case, right now I'm focused on getting past Samantha Tolson. I know I'm gonna have to use damn near everything in my repertoire in order to beat her.”
Henderson scratched his beard a bit before running his hand over his bald head, letting out a deep breath.
RYAN HENDERSON: “It's been quite a few years since I've really accomplished anything and I know deep down that I really want this. I want to represent not just Sixth City Pro, but I want to represent NJFC as it's Junior Heavyweight Champion. I'll defend that title anywhere and everywhere and against any Junior Heavyweight. That's the type of competitor that I am and the type of champion I intend on being. I'm here to prove to the entire world that I am one of the best Junior Heavyweights in the world and the one who stands tall at the end of this tournament will of done just that. I've got my family behind me, I've got my hometown of Cleveland behind me, I've got a lot of pressure on my shoulders going into this tournament and I'm fine with that. I thrive under pressure like that and I'm gonna go out there and show everyone what I've got.”
Ryan flashed a small smirk.
RYAN HENDERSON: “When I refer to myself as the King of Flight, Mr. No Limits. It's not so I have a catchy nickname, it's the truth. I have no limits and there isn't anything I won't risk in order to win. I'll put my body through hell in this tournament just for the one chance to walk out of the Korakuen Hall as the brand new Junior Heavyweight Champion. I'm willing to risk it at all, the real question is are every other competitor in this tournament willing to do the same for that same one chance.”
ANGELITA HENDERSON: “You did great, babe.”
Ryan let out a sigh.
