This used to be my playing grounds.
Takashi Shinobu sits inside the middle of the four sided ring, a smile plastered across his mouth and a look of happiness in his eyes as the camera fades into the scene. He looks around the Tokyo Dome; his eyes lighting up as he marvels at its beauty, reminiscing on the past, nostalgic memories of some historic matches that he competed in that went down inside the Dome.
I've had some of the most remembered matches in this promotions history. Before it's closure, I was the man who was on the rise; with the NJFC Heavyweight Championship on my accolades on two occasions, the Junior Heavyweight title being my first title and the Stairway to Stardom match being my platform to excel to the next level. I've done it all and seen it all.. but now, it's time for a new start. A new beginning. And at STARDOM I, a new adventure begins again. James Peterson has done well, to bring in the talent he has that is of a global scale, some of the biggest names in wrestling. But he's also stayed true to the roots of this promotion, inviting many of the previous roster members from the past. Peterson personally invited me because he believes that my journey is far from over. He believes that in this new NJFC, I've got a lot to go for and I think he's right. I look at this promotion now and I see opportunity, opportunity that I must take. But I also look at this promotion and I see a dying breed, a dying breed of natives as the promotion has been flooded with gaijan talent. Whilst others like Hiroyoshi Suzuki have vented their frustration on the matter, I invite the gaijan talent because I believe that they can better this promotion. Suzuki has got to remember that a lot of the previous talent who were here before, they turned down contracts, Peterson offered but they declined. Whilst these foreigners have taken the opportunity and want to make it big in the wrestling capital of the world.
He nods his head in appreciation of his nation before continuing.
I return to NJFC in a trio team match with my partners being two NJFC Legends; Asuka Yoshiro and King KOJIMA! And we will take on the gaijan, Joey Edwards, Vincent Van Hendriks and Giovanni Moriello, known as the Rebellion. Peterson is trying to install an EXODUS Trios division.. and EXODUS rules include no disqualifications, no count outs, anything goes, under elimination rules. Something different, something new, and something I'm very excited to compete under. Yoshiro and KOJIMA are two legends of the ring that I'm proud to share the ring with at STARDOM I, the biggest stage of them all. The Rebellion, they're going to have to have a lot in their tank if they're thinking about stopping us because believe me when I say, we're very motivated for this match. This is our return match to NJFC, this means everything to us because we're returning to the promotion that means everything to us! This is a promotion that nurtured me and turned me into the star I am today. This is the promotion that believed in me and pushed me to the top of the heavyweights division. This is a promotion that needs me, needs me to be the figure head for the native Japanese wrestlers. I'm prepared to take on the roll because Hiroyoshi is too foolish to do so, the man who defeated me for the NJFC Heavyweight title.
The Rebellion are going to talk about how this is their global stance, and how they're going to beat us, and how they're so much better than us. We already know this because we know that they have massive ego's, and when you have a massive ego, it's very predictable what you're going to say. They can say what they want, the only thing that matters is our actions on the night; and whether your actions compliment your words is up to you. The time for talk is over. It's time for the actions to ensue. It's all to play for at the Tokyo Dome. STADOM I: REBORN, Takashi Shinobu will be showing up and I promise, that alongside my partners, we'll get the win.
The scene cuts to black.
