• Brief Bio •
Jonathan Harrison Kellar was born in Greenwich, East London. He was born into a typical British middle-class family, the son of a doctor and a nurse. For the first three years of his life he was brought up in Forest Hill, where he learned to read and write at an early age under the guidance of his mother. In his autobiography, Kellar states that he regards his training to have started in Japan when he attended the world famous Kodokan School of Judo as a child. Here, Kellar learnt the basics of the "gentle way", becoming a first kyu (purple belt), but unable to progress further due to his age.
It was also during this time that Kellar was first exposed to professional wrestling, as he and friends from school would frequently sneak into small-time puroresu events held in Tokyo. One night, as a reward for an excellent school report, Kellar's mother agreed to take him to a larger event at the Tokyo Dome. Kellar credits this night with starting him down the path to his professional wrestling career, and also with ingraining the tougher puro-resu style into his makeup.
While at University, Kellar also began wrestling small independent events under the guise of "Bluebird", a masked wrestler from Japan with a mysterious background, and also wrestled a few dates in Japan under this guise. He then relocated to Canada and wrestled for Independent federations such as AWF, UCW, and UBWF before eventually signing on with GZW2K1, whom he would work for on and off for over a decade. He would win three World Championships, the Lord of the Coliseum Tournament in 2006, and eventually be inducted into their Ring of Honor in 2013.
Kellar married his long-time girlfriend and on-screen manager Sarah Wilson (known as Dyna Might) on 3 July 2005 while GroudZero Wrestling 2k1 were on the summer Heat Tour that year. Immediate family and a small number of friends (including long term friends Kev Mania and Sean O'Riley) attended the intimite ceremony in Japan. A larger celebration took place later in the year. They have one child together, Melissa. Sarah Wilson sadly passed away in 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

• Gimmick •
Kellar regards wrestling to be a sport, influenced by his early life in Japan and his martial arts training, and dislikes the "circus" which the business seems to be becoming. Kellar considers himself an athlete and a fighter first, and an entertainer second. This has led to him pursuing an MMA career as well as making occasional appearances in Pro-Wrestling. Kellar is essentially a "Prize Fighter", picking and choosing which matches will bring him the most money and prestige.
The "Human Dynamite" is his alter-ego that he occasionally adopts when in wrestling matches, in the form of painting his face (particularly around the eyes) and undergoing a ritual to temporarily break down "the wall". This alter-ego is a destructive force of nature that doesn't speak, doesn't interact with anyone, doesn't get the crowd going, and is focussed on one single goal: Defeating the opponent. It is similar to Finn Balor's "Demon" persona.

Wrestling Information
• Past Injuries •
Spinal Injury - 2008
In 2008 Kellar suffered a serious back injury. In attempting to wrestle through it and avoid potentially career-ending surgery, he became dependant upon painkillers. When the company found out, Kellar was sacked in disgrace and went to rehab, before undergoing the surgery. This led to him being out of the ring for over 6 years. This period still haunts Kellar to this day.

• Wrestling Style •
MMA esque. Lots of hard strikes. Suplexes from the rear-waistlock position. Lots of Submission Holds.
At the outset, will usually stay on the outside and circle his opponent, leading with his fast left jab, and throwing the occasional right straight. The punches are damaging but they are more intended for provocation and subterfuge to set up other moves. Using this tactic, he will look back the opponent onto the ropes or into the corner, then enter a clinch. He will follow up with hard strikes to the body. He may also clinch the opponent away from the ropes and drive knees into the ribs. This is to wear down the opponent and drain their stamina.
He will then try and transition the clinch into a suplex or a throw, to take the fight to the mat usually with a suplex from a belly to back position (e.g. German) as they allow for a quick transition to side control or full mount. Once on the mat Kellar may continue his striking offence by taking full mount and making strikes to the face (not legal in wrestling, but he will push the 5 count) or execute knee strikes to the body from side control.
However, Kellar’s speciality is submission wrestling, so where there is an opportunity he will go for a submission on a joint or attempt a choke. This includes situations where he is on his back and under pressure, as he is adept at executing submission holds from his back.

"Kellar Klutch"
(Anaconda Vice)
OOC: Part of the "Human Dynamite" character is that this hold is unbreakable. Kellar once strapped this onto a 7 foot giant who delivered three backbreakers and still he didn't let go. The only way to get out of this hold is to reach the ropes, and even then Kellar will usually wait until the "F" of Five before releasing it. In short, once it's on, it's on.
"Kellar Klash"
(Nakamura's Bomaye)

• Strengths •
Strategic and Focussed
Kellar will have his opponent scouted well before he even gets near the ring. Factors such as any injury history or preferred style of wrestling will affect how Kellar approaches the match. He will look to expose any weakness and neutralise any advantage.
Extreme Veteran
Kellar is a 4 time extreme champion and is well versed in fighting in extreme environments. If the rules permit it (or if he can get away with it) he will incorporate weapons into his usual wrestling style, for example using the ring post to wear down a leg, or wearing down an arm by leg-dropping a chair onto it.
Back from the Dead
Kellar's background is in martial arts that do not allow you to win by pinfall, and is therefore well versed at countering when on his back. An opponent covering Kellar may suddenly find themselves on the receiving end of a submission hold (such as the Kimura or a Gogoplata) in the blink of an eye.
• Weaknesses •
Stolen Prime
Kellar suffered a severe back injury in 2008 and was forced to choose between potentially career-ending surgery or battling through the pain. He chose the latter, and became addicted to painkillers. The result was disgrace and an exile of around 5 years.
Family Ties
With the death of his wife Dyna, Kellar is now a single parent to Melissa Kellar. He wrestles to provide for her, but as a result can’t be the father she deserves, and that preys on his mind.
The Wall
Kellar fights hard to maintain a mental "wall" between the "Human Dynamite" and his every day personality. The Human Dynamite can make him an almost invincible wrestler, but is also dangerous, selfish, volatile and unpredictable.
• Allies •
John Pariah - Kellar and Pariah met in an informal "Best of Three" series across three Pay Per Views. The first was at NJFC's first Pay-Per-View, which Pariah won. They then clashed again at Rising Sun REvolution, with Kellar picking up the win. Finally, the two met in an Iron Man match in England for Redefine Pro Wrestling, with Kellar winning by two falls to one. The two developed an immense respect for one another over the course of this rivalry.

Entrance Description
The lights go out, and Kellar slowly makes his way out onto the stage, walking through three spotlights. He turns towards the ring and looks up as the lights come up super-bright. He slowly makes his way to the ring, as the lights go darker (though not all the way out). When he reaches the ring he climbs up the steps, over the middle rope and moves to the centre of the ring, his head bowed low.
He raises his head as the lights go bright again, and stares. He then retreats to the corner, removes his t-shirt, hat, and dog-tags, and readies himself.
Entrance as Champion
Exactly as above, but with a belt around his waist.
Attire: Kellar will usually wear a t-shirt from Tapout (one of his sponsors), a black beanie hat, and a dog tag around his neck which has his wedding ring and a nametag with Dyna's name in Japanese imprinted on it.
