Aqua live show. Fukuoka, Japan. Friday 9th September.
After a very tough match last night with the Boardwalk All In rumble, he's only just arrived in Japan a few hours ago and the whole time before he arrived, he was looking for something to do in Japan. Konrad's never been the one to talk about his matches in the gym or at his home because Konrad wouldn't be able to focus training when he talks about his matches and he has to be doing something other than being at his home, but one attraction that did catch on his mind that he saw from browsing the internet was a place called Marine World which is a little similar to the one he went to recently back in America, but the difference was over there, they had only the dolphin and sea lion shows, but in Japan, they also had an aqua live show which he's currently at right now, managing to catch the last show just in time.
He sees a lot of large fish in the tank and knew he wasn't in Japan as a tourist, he was also in Japan for his match against Leon Cashmere which he has been excited about a lot, even if he just remembered a few weeks ago about the match. He now was currently looking at the different kind of fishes with the diver swimming with the large fishes in the tank as he nods his head to see how amazing it was to come here and see them as he begins to speak with one NJFC camera crew around him.
Konrad Raab: "That was one heck of a journey to get here from a rumble match I had last night. Luckily I had a private plane that could take me here so fast. Enough about that because of course it's not relevant to this match or this company. What is though is my loss against Jon Kellar. Me and him have nothing, but respect for each other and I did owe him a favour to join his Underground Zero Wrestling company after the match and I did. It was devastating for me to lose another title match, but I realised I didn't tap out or get pinned. Was just the matter of me passing out due to being in pain. Anyway enough about the past, time to get my career in Japan back on track on facing against a guy who won his last match against Cyrus Riddle, Leon Cashmere."
Konrad smiles as he loves to look at the big fish in the large aquarium with a man talking about the different fish he's swimming with and he continues to speak.
Konrad Raab: "So I did spend sometime on the plane, looking up on my opponent since I didn't know much about him and from what I can see, the guy has achieved a lot in his career from being a champion in ECWF, EWE and other accomplishments in his career so he's indeed a major threat to me in this match due to those achievements and I did manage to watch some of the match he had with Cyrus Riddle last time out and saw how much he was a lot like me in the ring with a lot of technical moves and even some power moves in his wrestling. That shows alone that I have to take this kid a major threat even more. I for one am glad to face Leon because I know how evenly matched we are which is rare in this sport that I find someone that's almost like me in the ring."
Konrad's already impressed with Leon as he even likes the guy and had nothing against him as he scratches his chin before speaking again.
Konrad Raab: "I know and aware of what he said last time to Cyrus on him being bloodied up, but that's far from what you'd expect when you wrestle me because I'm a wrestler who rather takes everyone to their limits and showing my pride and passion I have for the sport. I'm all about sticking to the rules and pushing wrestlers to their limits, tearing the whole house down and I have a feeling you are that type of wrestler who will do so with me in this upcoming match. Wrestling in Japan is a whole learning experience for me since I've been with the company for a year now and I've never experience different cultures or the different type of wrestling styles.
I live in Japan as well, in Tokyo nevertheless so it's always a great feeling to come back here and perform my best for the Japanese fans because although I wrestled here last month, I miss being here and wrestling against Leon Cashmere is no joke. The threat he poses to me is exactly like the size of those fishes in the tank because any one of us can win the match because we are so alike in our skills and in a way, our personalities as well cos I barely brag my accomplishments either and I'm never a big believer on being the best or greatest wrestler because every wrestler, even myself have their weaknesses in the sport like me losing to Jon Kellar for the Heavyweight title was one of those losses I suffered."
Konrad has a think for a bit before speaking again.
Konrad Raab: "But we can always turn things around here and sadly, only one of us will win the match and I really need to win because well, I've not been performing that great recently and need a win really to show I still have what it takes to take on the top wrestlers in the world like you Leon. Tomorrow night, prepare to be Raabinated by The Iceman."
Konrad watches the rest of the Aqua show before he heads back to the hotel to dress up for the press conference later today for the Leon Cashmere match.
