James Peterson and Jack "The Ripper" Tillman like this

“A New Hope in Tokyo...” words spoken in a rather collected, chill manner.
The scene opens with Benny Stevens standing on top of a building as he glances at the horizon – quite cliché. Still, the man couldn’t care less about that. The look in his face shows nothing but happiness and confidence. We see an individual that no longer behaves like a rookie; he’s now a legitimate professional wrestler… The most important is that, deep inside, Benny knows that.
The dark sky is illuminated by the bright advertisement signs all over the buildings. Meanwhile, a great amount of pedestrians cross the long scramble that appears to go in all directions. Specifically, that’s the well-known location called Shibuya Crossing.
“Kon’nichiwa, Tokyo!” so says Benny as he finally turns to the camera.
His smile shines bright, and so do his blue eyes. Benny slides his hand on his long blond hair, clearly enjoying that moment.
“First of all, I must introduce myself to Japan. I'm sure that most of you have no idea who I am. Y'see, watashi wa Benjamin Stevens. Okay, that’s all I know. Anyway, name's Benny Stevens and I was born in the United States of America. I’m a twenty six years old guy that likes to get paid to fight folks in a squared ring, of course, after I talk some shit on them… I'm a professional wrestler – aka awesome career.”
He takes a quick pause.
“That’s it, I guess. Oh, of course, I have my hobbies, personal tastes and shit. But let’s not waste too much time on irrelevant subjects. The truth is, neither you nor I have got time to waste, so let me start by telling you people why I'm here, and what I am supposed to do… So, why?
Why has Benny chosen Japan?
What’s so special here?
The answer is simple… Wrestling. If there’s one thing that I am not, is a liar. I don’t need to hide behind a fuckin’ mask like some of these overrated fools in NJFC do. Make no mistake, I'm no king. There are so many of them nowadays, huh? I'm not one of the greatest – but believe me when I say that I’m going to accomplish that someday. Let’s see, oh, the classic, I'm not a legend.
I'm just a man that has a big set of balls and is willing to do whatever it fuckin’ takes to win. Sounds vague, but hey, I mean it. Sure, you people have heard lots of wrestlers saying that same shit in the past… It’s nothing new. That’s what we're supposed to do anyway, right? We’re supposed to act superior, or else the opponent will find our weaknesses, et cetera, et cetera.
Well, I don’t really give a shit. Go ahead and say whatever you want about me, but I can guarantee that I'm the definition of resilience in NJFC. I’ve experienced the rock bottom – and I really mean that. Every company that I was in, failed in a brief period of time. Five, six months… A fuckin’ bummer, but it is what it is. Still, here I am.”
Benny lets out a sigh before he carries on with the monologue.
“Here I am, once again trying to elevate my game to a whole new level. I don’t settle for less… I don’t want to be just another wrestler. I want to exceed the limits imposed by society, and my own. That’s why I'm here, people. Japan is, undoubtedly, one of the toughest countries ever when it comes to wrestling. Take the NJFC’s roster as example – you will find hall of famers, world champions, highly experienced competitors and so on. The new generation of wrestlers being built in this country is the elite in the world…
… You want a specific example?”
He smiles before looking down to observe the non-stopping activity at the Shibuya Crossing.
“Jack Tillman.
The Ripper.
The Ripper versus The Daredevil… Oh, man, destiny is something funny. I went from claiming to be Kurt Newman to pick up ring rats, to fighting one of his pupils. Shit is kind of lame, but it’s the truth. I mean, take a look at me and him. We look alike – I look better than him, though. My point is, Jack and I aren’t exactly unknown to each other.
I know who Jack is, and he knows who I am. I respect him, and he respects me. We're both young competitors doing what we love the most… We live wrestling. That’s all we've fuckin’ got nowadays. I don’t even need to ask Jack if he agrees with that, because I just know he does. Wrestling is our life – period.
Fortunately, I get to face him in my first match ever in Japan. Jack, Kurt and Chris, I don’t mind repeating that statement – it’s an honor to share the ring with Jack Tillman. We’re both as hungry as one can be, but the business ain’t gonna be sweet to all of us. One of us will have to start off the wrong foot, and trust me, I'm fucking tired of experiencing failure. The fact of the matter is, my career in the USA is a goddamn failure. I’ve only conquered one Championship belt – its company; however, is dead. Therefore, so is the Championship.”
Benny looks into the camera confidently.
“A New Hope in Tokyo is not just a coincidence to me… It's my reality. I’ve left every sign of failure in the USA. Right here, in Japan, I am ready to make a name for myself. No matter how many times I get knocked the fuck down, I will always get up.
The thing is, I’ve had enough of getting knocked down. Now it is my turn to knock'em down, and Tillman, you’re the first one. Business is business, buddy.”
Black screen.
