The Dojo of Dragons
Our young Dragons as well as regular members of the roster train within the facility of the Dojo of Dragons, a wrestling development facility which was first opened up in the late 80's by Sakuraba Yoshitatsu, the original founder of the promotion. The purpose? To train those interested in the art of puroresu, a strong style approach to wrestling that has been engraved in the history of Japanese wrestling. A concoction of numerous wrestling styles with the main base being strong style and mixed martial arts. Yoshitatsu was a wrestling legend back in his day, establishing the promotion in 1979 and hosting a number of shoot style tournaments that would differentiate NJFC from other promotions. His unorthodox approach was risky at the time but was well received from fans and young wrestlers alike, who'd come down to watch Yoshitatsu and his roster of warriors perform.
The demand became heavy and Yoshitatsu decided that he needed to do something about it, thus - opening the Dojo to train a new generation of professionals, who'd carry on his approach after his retirement, becoming the breeding ground for new stars in NJFC. Despite the closure of the company in the late 2000's, the facility would remain open to those who still wanted to learn the ways of puroresu. Yoshitatsu still plays a pivotal role in the development of young Dragons but has taken the backseat, allowing former students to take on the role of head trainer whilst he overlooks the development of potential stars that can spawn into New Japan Fighting Championship's new regime.
Those who enroll into the Dojo of Dragons program are expected to train everyday of the week with the weekends off so students can visit family and have luxury time for themselves. A strict regiment is given to students, what they're expected to eat and drink as well as other requirements. All students where the same attire, black wrestling trunks and boots, with white wrist tape also being provided but is optional. Young Dragons are usually at all supershow events, acting as security in a way as they spread themselves around the ring, making sure everything runs smoothly and no action can harm the fans.
