...The camera pivoted around sending our vision into confusion. Abruptly, Kenshin Takamura was the new scenery before us. His simple white shirt stood out in the darkness of the alley in which he stood. The unkempt nature of his clothes displayed a lack of concern.
“dPEEg, Cashville, I am not even concerned with what you call yourselves,” he said with a gentle flick of his wrist. “Why should I be concerned with two men who cannot even take themselves serious?” His question bit. “I have wrestled for many years. If you were serious champions, you would not be lying to yourselves to make you feel more comfortable with the inevitable outcome at Pride of Puroresu. In terms of competition; however, you two are on another level. There is a reason you won the GPC Tag Team Championship in a grueling tournament,” Kenshin pointed out, acknowledging the skill of the defending champions.
“But, if you were serious champions, you would never be stupid enough to walk into our match without knowing your opponents completely. You might remember when we all referenced a particular movie quote,” he inquired. Kenshin waited an appropriate amount of time for someone to have actually answered him before adding, “I like to let people talk who like to talk so I know how much full of shit they are.” Takamura’s eyes stared into the camera with a very small smile on his face. “Jason Cashe has apparently been ignorant of my presence in professional wrestling yet talks about the things I have done,” Takamura chuckled in amusement. “My face is on all media here. I become the first-ever HKW Global Heavyweight Champion here!” Kenshin said has he pointed a finger toward the ground below his feet. If you want to act like I am nothing, fine, but you two are standing in my home now. Wait, you claim it is yours, right?”
”You have not walked these streets,” Takamura raised a hand toward the scene behind him, “or fought its fights.” Kenshin’s eyes focused in on the camera once again. You simply stopped in one day because NJFC was holding a tournament for titles, happened to win them, and claimed the country as your home to be a couple of trolls. Please,” the Ace of Aces said with a small smile on his face, do not get me wrong, you two have some very funny things to say, but,” he trailed off before his eyes took a darker tone as if he were a darkening cloud preparing to break open into a storm. “How do I say this?” he asked introspectively.
His eyes focused completely on the camera as he pulled the lens closer to him so that everyone could see the uncaring look in his eyes and feel the bluntness of his words. “I am going to kick all of that information into your heads so you won’t forget it. Side effects will include blackouts, amnesia, and new GPC Tag Team Champions. Maybe then Tommy Knox will take the Karate Man seriously,” Kenshin’s lips twisted into a smirk. “Then again, probably not. Both Tommy Knox and Jason Cashe are full of shit.”
“So, now that TweedleDee has said his piece about me being no one, TweedleDum is not far behind. And, when he did, it was more of the same. Everyone makes a reference to dull knives. Everyone makes fun of our culture. You two are as predictable as the seasons. During the match, it will be more of the same from both of you. More of the same ability. More of the same stupidity. But, something will be different, the outcome. Those two titles that have been nothing but a ticket for tourism for the two of you gaijin are coming home with us because the biggest mistake the two of you are going to make is that push comes to shove, you two are going to talk, and jaws don’t hold up very well to a stiff kick.”
“But, please, I have not given Tommy Knox the appropriate amount of spotlight he craves so much. You know what I find funniest about you, Knox. You are a wrestler for a reason. All wrestlers need a certain skillset, but your innate ability to walk into a room and light it up with laughter is amazing. Unfortunately, what you have not been able to pick up since you were a tiny child is everyone in that room is laughing at you. And, after all of the disrespect and taunting, you both will come to the realization that they are nothing more than the tourist, village idiots.” Takamura strolled off, seeming finished, but an abrupt halt saw him before us once again. “Don’t worry, I would never make the mistake of believing dPEEg could learn anything,” Kenshin commented with a knowing smirk across his lips. He walked away as Jacqui shut off the feed.
