Brief Bio: Nagisa grew up a lifelong fan of Professional Wrestling. Of course other things interested him athletically such as basketball and baseball, but his attention always diverted back to Wrestling. He actually grew up watching the dying days of the original HyperFight promotion in person. While he’d get to watch old tapes and reruns of the older footage from its hay day and be amazed at the compelling competitors and incredible displays of athletic prowess. He’d devoted himself to focusing on becoming a pro, so utilized amateur wrestling in high school as an avenue to get the attention of promoters and bookers amongst the newer promotions dominating the landscape of japan after HyperFight’s original decline. He became a solidly accomplished worker with some buzz around him, but someone seen with untapped potential as none of the top national organizations had given him a breakthrough opportunity quite yet. He now looks to show why his time has been long awaited as joining the New Japan Fighting Championship presents the perfect setting to showcase his abilities on a grand stage.

Picture Base: Kento Miyahara
Gimmick: The Ruby Royal, Nagisa believes in honor and glory in proving superiority in combat in the squared circle. Very much valuing the idea of wrestling being the ultimate athletic contest, he views wrestling as a sport in the purest way possible. He dresses very flashily and likes to pose for the audience, but this isn’t out of a place of arrogance. It is simply his way of trying to present himself as a larger than life icon and try to inspire young fans like how he was by the megastars of his youth like Kanichi Andō and Hiroyoshi Kaneko (The men who started HyperFight. He simply wants to become the greatest of his time and etch his name alongside the icons he grew up watching in the history books.
